Summary of Duties: 

To support renovation and upkeep of residential and commercial properties. This role will primarily assist with carpentry-related tasks including framing, drywall, trim work, and general repair duties, while also handling routine property maintenance needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, building partitions, door installations, trim, shelving, and other wood-based repair or installation projects. 

  • Conduct general property maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, flooring, and appliance installation or troubleshooting. 

  • Perform routine inspections of properties and report issues or needed repairs. 

  • Support the Property Manager with renovations, remodels, move-in/move-out preparations, and property turnover tasks. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are stored properly. 

  • Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes. 

  • Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members 

 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or carpentry preferred. 

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, building materials, and safety practices. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. 

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 

  • Valid Driver’s License to include active liability insurance. 

  • Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks. 

  • Ability to pass a drug screening.  

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: 

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

  • Loud noise levels. 

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
